A very fun album by Boyd Rice (NON) and Rose McDowall (Strawberry Switchblade/Coil/Current 93). This is unlike anything else I’ve heard by Boyd Rice, and even features him singing instead of just doing his usual spoken-word performances (but there are spoken-word pieces here, too). It’s a rather kitsch collection of cover versions of songs from the 1960s and 1970s; the design of the album cover might give you some idea of the aesthetic they are aiming at here, and they pull it off pretty well.
If you like 1960s pop songs, you’ll probably like this too.
